What kind of red dot fits this pistol?
The G43X MOS has a Shield RMSc footprint. It is designed for micro red dots like the Shield RMSc, Sig Sauer RomeoZero, or Holosun 407k/507k (may require minor modification). Always verify optic compatibility before purchasing.
Does this come with the optic adapter plates?
No, the slimline MOS models (G43X/G48) do not include adapter plates like the full-size Glocks. The slide is cut for direct mounting of optics with the Shield RMSc footprint.
How is this different from the regular G43 or the G48?
The G43X has the short slide/barrel of the G43 but the longer grip of the G48 (allowing 10-round capacity vs. the G43’s 6 rounds). The G48 has both the long grip & the longer slide/barrel. This G43X MOS is considered by many to be the perfect balance for concealment and capacity.
